Mo money mo money mo money.

It seems that the $20 bill is getting a redesign. Didn't we just go through this a few years ago? How about spending some time getting rid of the useless penny instead of wasting millions on the $20. Also the article mentions that the $1 and $2 bill are remaining the same. The $2 bill? Are they seriously still making that?

Why are we still using money at all?

I try to stay away from it as much as possible.

I have a transponder on my car to pay tolls, I use an ATM card for all purchases, and have most of my bill spaid automatically through EFT.

And another thing, our coins are poorly designed. If anything needed a redesign, it's our coinage.

You know it doesn't even have the amount the coin is worth numericaly printed on the coin?

True, Steve, but Americans don't like to use coins. Remember the Susan B. Anthony coin? Gone. The first $1 coin? Never caught on. The gold $1 coin? Again, Americans don't want to use coins. They're quite popular in Europe, and the US Mint seems intent on getting us to be just as comfortable with them, but I don't think it's going to happen.

I agree with your "no money" idea, though. I never carry cash, as everything I want to buy I can with my ATM debit card. All my bills I pay online via my bank's billpay setup, and my paycheck arrives in my checking account via direct deposit, so I never physically see it, or any cash. It's nice.

Im only 15 years old and i hate to use coins. I think coins are just dirty, lots of people handle them and some of those people are dirty. If i had it my way then there wouldnt be any coins, everything would be $1, $2, $3, and so forth.

I disagree with your mo money statement the world is already on a fast paste why speed things up. Have you ever heard of the mark of the beast. This is the era that we are comming to why rush things? live the life you have while you have it.:wink:
