Finally Saw LOTR:ROTK
That's Lord of the Rings, Return of the King for those not in the know. Really good. Really really good. And when asked if I thought it was "as good as #2 or #1", I realized there's no need to compare. It's all one movie and not an after thought piece of crap like that Matrix "sequel" - blech.

thr matrix was written as a trilogy not as the first movie with 2 piggy backing movies written after the sucess of the first. just for refrence

You can usually tell when a trilogy is planned in advanced. All three "Lord Of The Rings" films were obviousely planned. As the other Josh said, "They're all one movie". As for "The Matrix" goes, it's obvious that part 1 was planned for the purposes of making a good movie, while parts 2 and 3 were planned to make money.

I know it sounds cliche but those of you who enjoyed the movie should really read the book. Doing so will give you such a deep, rich understanding of the characters and events; it really is worth it. Truly groundbreaking literature for its time too!

Lord of the Rings III is the geatest movie. it doesn't happen very often when a screen version of a book is as powerful as the book itself... It's more than words can say, and it deserves the best of awards!!
